About Gubbio

Gubbio is definitely one of the most picturesque and characteristic towns in Italy situated in the beautiful area of Umbria. It is set in the higher part of a plateau at the foot of Mount Ingino and has a rather simple plan - five parallel streets running at different levels on the slopes of the hill and connected each other by alleys. All the buildings are of Romanesque style thus making its architecture notable and intriguing.
